Websighting for Woodworking

There are many websites dedicated to woodworking that you can find on the Internet. One of the more interesting ones is called "Woodworking (and hiding) in the garage". This web site can be accessed by going to http://www.kiva.net/~rjbrown . If you had to print out the home page - and I did - it is 15 pages long. I don't know how many more pages it would be if you did all the links. He has managed to put together a bunch of woodworking sites that are a great source of information.

One site is called Woodworking 101. There are free plans for some "Arts and Crafts" furniture, and for other wood projects, and I don't mean lawn furniture.

There is one link where you can download CAD software, FREE. He even explains how you can easily download information and how you can find it when you need it. He has lumber sources and tool sources. You scroll sawyers and turners have a host of information and plans available also. Woodply here on the Island is mentioned regarding the availability of MDO, that paper-backed paneling that Norm Abram often uses. And of course you can visit some cabinetmakers' sites who write about their work and show you pictures. It's a great site to spend some time on.
