Grand Opening: The Hardwood Warehouse
(Editor's note: The following text was written by the merchants themselves.)
Announcing the Grand Opening of "The Hardwood Warehouse",
3501 Merrick Road in Seaford, approximately 1/2 mile west of the Seaford
Oyster Bay Expressway (Rt. 135). Its goal is to provide the highest quality
materials and products along with professional service. The new warehouse
and showroom will feature an extensive collection of domestic and imported
hardwood lumber, hardwood plywoods, exotic veneers, finishing products
and much, much more. Although the store is new, you may recognize one
of the key men behind it -- Richard Kahn, formally of Wood-Ply Lumber.
Richie has served the woodworking community for the past 18 years. He
and his partner, Charlie Butera, have built a new, clean and friendly
place to shop, and they look forward to fulfilling your woodworking needs
well into the new millennium. If Richie and Charlie can not locate what
you need, then it probably doesn't exist! The store can be found on the
web at http://www.hwonline.com or
http://www.hardwoodwarehouse.com
. The store should be open for business by April 1st, and, of course,
mention that you are a club member and receive the same courtesy Richard
has offered in the past. Call (516) 221-4900 or toll free at (800) 877-WOOD
for more information.
