Jim M,

Thank you, I am a guest, that must be the reason why I can not post any photos.

Mac,

Your problem with posting photos is that you are not logged in as a member.  Guests cannot upload photos from their computers.

Safari is a Mac browser. Yet I still have problems uploading an image too.

Hmmm.

Is yours a Big Mac? -Wink I don't know. I am not an Applephile - I regret it though. The Web Wiz documentation states:

Client Side Requirements

To use Web Wiz Forums the client needs to be running one of the following browsers (other browsers maybe supported but not tested).

  • Internet Explorer 4+
  • Firefox
  • Netscape 4+
  • Mozilla
  • Opera 4+
  • Safari

Jim,

Does this work with Mac (apple) computers?

I find the image icon, but not the sub window?

Any ideas or help.

Robert,

Good explanation, I even understood the English, but you also need to be a signed in member to upload your own files.

I just finished this long post - and this still Beta version of the forum wiped off my tutorial... Censored
I will try to insert a picture I took at F. Klausz shop during a private moment...
Click on the picture icon of this post menu
===============================================
pixicon
===============================================

A sub-menu opens.

1) Click BROWSE to open your C:\ drive and locate the picture.
2) Click on the picture ( A JPG works well. I had problems with a PNG file format... )
3) Click on the UPLOAD
3-b) a weird windows tells you to be patient and you have to aknowledge... well - what else could I do He ?

===============================================
Patience%20and%20humor...

===============================================
Well, this must still be a BETA bersion. The subwindow is slightly too small . You have to expand it ( by rick clicking your mouse over the bottom margin of the window and dragging the frame size towards the bottom of the screen. Then press the OK button.

===============================================
enlarge%20me

================================================

Voila - TA TAAAAA ! Here it is...It is not a simple process and some incongruities in filtered into the process. However, it is possible to insert images in a post. I love it !Lie%20Nielsen%20Calendar

So: note for the developer ( Thanks H! )
1) Expand the window so that we see the OK and CANCEL buttons
2) Do allow the re-upload of the same file name - or ask to change the name during the upload
3) Enable to delete the existing files on the server - or to re-use them. I could not see the use for a PREVIEW button. When we click on server's file, nothing happens.
4) Teach me correct English so that every members will understand this explanation... :)

The%20Froggy%20at%20workHey ! Animated GIF's are working!...
Note: I did fall from stairs on Monday and I am immobilized in front of the PC... Nothing else better to do than writing Clap
