The Long Island Woodturners Guild

A Guild For All Levels of Woodturners
Founded on May 12, 2005, the Long Island Woodturners Guild is a special interest group of the Long Island Woodworkers and all members of the guild have to also belong to the Long Island Woodworkers. Guild members share a common interest in woodturning.

Membership is open to persons of all skill levels, from beginners to professional.

A Guild With A Variety Of Activities

The Long Island Woodturner Guild's objectives are the same as those of its parent organization, the Long Island woodworkers. The guild focuses on making woodturning accessible to everyone.

Meetings feature guest speakers as well as club members who share their expertise.

Topics covered have included: pen turning, oranament turning, finials, round robin etc.

In addition to monthly meetings and demonstrations, we offer a wealth of new friendships.

Meetings

The club meets every second Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM from January to December.

Meetings are held at the Brush Barn (located behind the Historical Epenetus Smith Tavern), 211 E Jericho Turnpike Smithtown, New York.

If you are interested in learning more about our organization, please come to our monthly meeting. Guests are always welcome
